Challenge:
An investment team needed a prime site for their new carwash concept in Columbia, SC. Their site criteria required this be on major retail corridor with strong traffic counts and easy access—and that was far enough from the competition to be successful. They needed a site selection expert to educate them on the overall Columbia market and all its trade areas, to identify the competition and the gaps in the market, and to negotiate and secure the right site.

Matt was able to craft a purchase proposal with his investors that beat the competitive offers and advised his clients on due diligence, financing, choosing the best general contractor and other facets of getting this venture open. Construction is now well underway with completion estimated in early Summer 2021.
